  • 18″ ruler – For accurate measurements (aluminum or metal preferred)
  • Iron and ironing board – A padded work surface is essential for professional results
  • Internet access – To stream your lessons and connect with our community
Most Important Tool:
  • A desire to learn! – Everything else can be acquired as you grow your skills
Don’t Have Everything Yet? No problem! Our course manual includes detailed equipment lists from beginner to advanced levels, so you can start with basics and build your toolkit over time. Many students begin with just a few tools and add equipment as they discover their favorite techniques.
Budget-Friendly Tip: Check thrift stores, estate sales, or online marketplaces for quality used equipment. A good sewing machine and iron are investments that will serve you for years!
